During the workshop, we will give you easy to use tools that will help you create and keep the work-life balance you desire.
We will explore ways to find solutions to conflicts, how respond positively to difficult emotions and ways to set up clear boundaries.
All parents desire to balance work and family life and many find it a real challenge; particularly now that many have to work from home. Research shows that parents who manage to create a nurturing environment at home are happier, more creative and positive at work - and at home. Yet, many working parents feel guilty and stressed of not doing enough in either environment. This impacts on their performance and withers their potential at work and their connection with their children at home.

In this workshop we will give you powerful tools that will help you transform conflicts into opportunities. We will concentrate on the power of listening and acknowledging feelings and find ways to soothe your child and yourself in difficult situations. We will explore how to encourage children to be more aware of the impact of their behaviours and how to support children attain a positive self-image.

We will look at how we can best support your adolescent going through the dramatic transformation that takes place in their brain using the most recent research on brain development . That transformation impacts all aspects of their lives: social, emotional, motivational, identity. We will also look at how we can support their transition to adulthood with confidence, respect, passion and self-care. I will give you tools that will help you and your adolescent respond to emotional upheavals, support autonomy within acceptable boundaries and encourage positive self-image.

As most of us can no longer do without our screens, we may need to adjust the way we think about screens.
In this workshop we will explore how recent scientific research responds to the main questions parents ask about the impact and benefits of screen time on the child’s development: how early can we start using screens; how to set up and respect clear boundaries, how to separate and keep the balance between “playtime”, “work time”, “friend time” or “family time” and how to encourage children self-manage their own relationship with their screen devices.
-
The workshop will give you simple and effective strategies to reduce sibling rivalry, how to manage the parent’s reactions when you faced with your children fighting with one another, how to encourage children find their own solutions, how to anticipate and avoid conflicts and how to support children find alternative solutions to fighting when they are in conflict.
